Allie is a 1-2-year-old bundle of love who’s ready to find her forever home! Rescued from a shelter in New Jersey, this adorable girl has a personality as unique as her charming little smirk. Allie is a people-lover through and through, always eager to soak up affection and share her sweet, soulful energy with those around her. She’s house and crate trained, making her an easy addition to any household. Allie is not a fan of bigger pups—it’s just her preference, and we respect her boundaries. Allie does have Down syndrome, which means she processes things a bit more slowly than some other dogs. But don’t let that fool you—she doesn’t let it hold her back one bit! She’s a bright, happy, and determined girl who approaches life at her own delightful pace. If you’re looking for a loving, unique companion who will steal your heart with every smirk and wag of her tail, Allie might just be your perfect match!

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
