My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maverick is a puppy from a litter born on October 28 in an overcrowded Central Valley Shelter. He and his littermates were rescued along with their affectionate mother when only 4 days old. Their mother, Kismet is a very sweet and affectionate 35 lb. Australian Cattle Dog. While the identity of the father remains a mystery, judging by the puppy’s size, he was a larger breed dog. We suspect the puppies adult weight will be 60-70 lbs.
At their foster home, the puppies spend their nights snuggled together in two large, combined exercise pens. By day, they eagerly explore and play in the large side yard and love when humans come to play and interact with them.

If you are prepared to take on the rewarding challenge of raising Maverick to be your new BFF, please complete our application that can be found on our website: 1luckydogrescue.org or contact their foster mom, Nancy at nancymoore016@gmail.com. If contacting by email, please tell us a little about the home you would offer the puppy.
