My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy | Pit Bull Mix | DOB: 10/28/2016 | Dog Friendly | Older Kids| Cats Unknown|

Meet Lucy, the 30 pound bundle of joy! This 8-10 year old mixed breed has been through a lot, but she's still bursting with life and love. After being separated from her lifelong dad, who left for hospital and never returned, Lucy found herself in a shelter, terrified and alone. Luckily, she was rescued and is now thriving with her foster family. But Lucy's heart belongs to her forever family - a mom and dad to snuggle with and love her unconditionally.

Lucy loves people and warms up quickly to new faces. She's learning to walk on a leash, as we don't believe she had ever used one, and enjoys exploring the world outside and is always ready for a walk.

This sweet girl is fully vetted, except for her upcoming spay surgery in January.

Lucy's idea of heaven is snuggling up on the couch with her favorite people. She's not suited for homes with young children, but she gets along with calm dogs.

If you're ready to offer Lucy the love and comfort she deserves, inquire about adopting this spunky lap dog today!

More about this rescue

We started out fighting for our baby boy, Lucci, who was killed due to Airport Animal Emergi-Center Clinic's breed prejudice. When he was killed, we make a promise that no bully would be left behind. Now we try to save as many bullies as we can!
