My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bonnie....
Poor Bonnie was just surrendered back to the rescue. The family that adopted her 5 months ago called and said Bonnie has too much anxiety for them. Bonnie was originally tied to a McDonald's dumpster near one of our foster home. Animal control called us after finding her. Shortly after getting Bonnie
settled on the rescue, we got her vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Bonnie was quickly adopted and
we thought thriving in her home. It seems as though the adopters crated Bonnie way too much. Bonnie
is not a fan of the crate, especially for long periods of time. Bonnie was surrendered back to us with a
nasty chest rash. Of course the family had no idea what it's from, our guess is a harness on her while
crated or tied up and her struggling to break free. We are now sure what life was like for Bonnie these
past 5 months, we do know she is now safe, back in her orginial foster home and learning how to feel
love and security again. Bonnies rash is now 100% cleared up. Bonnie is a 1 year old Frenchie, pittie mix. Her weight is 37 pounds. She
loves to run around the yard, play with other dogs and of course be with her family.. We are looking to place her in a home where people are home more than gone. She is potty trained, and sleeps in bed with her foster family. WE HAVE BEEN CRATING BONNIE IN FOSTER AND SHE DOES FINE. She actually enjoys her crate. We feel that her previous adopters lied about everything when returning Bonnie back to us. Being fostered in Stony Point NY
