Hi, I am Sheldon! I am a six-month-old, twenty-five pound Border Terrier puppy in search for my forever home. I am in a very loving foster home where I spend a lot of time with many other dogs and my foster dad. I am crate-trained, working very well on house-training, and am a pure pleasure to have around. I am extremely gentle and loving with everyone I meet, and my best friend is a Lab mix puppy named Sharla. We play and cuddle for hours every day and are learning potty training together! I have many other friends in my foster house and they all love me and look after me. I am looking for a forever home where I can spend a lot of time cuddling with my family, as I am very much a cuddler. I am very gentle with treats even though I really love to eat! I would be perfect for anyone who wants a dog they can share lots of treats with! I am still a puppy, but I am close to fully grown already. I am not very talkative, and really only bark when I need to go out to potty or if I see my reflection in the mirror! LOL. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.
Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
*WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.
*To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.
