My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cobalt is a handsome 2-year-old Labrador Retriever looking for a patient and understanding home. He's a treat-motivated sweetheart who is eager to please and already knows how to sit for treats. He appears to walk nicely on a leash and enjoys going for strolls. Cobalt can be a bit nervous in new situations and around new people, but with gentle encouragement and tasty treats, he warms up quickly. It's important to note that Cobalt has a fear waiver, so he may have some anxieties that require a calm environment and careful handling. He's also sensitive to being touched, so potential adopters will need to go slow and build trust. Cobalt has shown some resource guarding, which means he'll need a home committed to positive reinforcement training to help him overcome this. With the right family, Cobalt will make a loving and loyal companion. If you can offer him a quiet home, plenty of love, and the commitment to continue his training, please consider giving Cobalt a chance to shine.
