Meet Amber. This beautiful girl joined the NorCal family when she was found as a stray and ended up in a Sacramento shelter. She was horribly matted and neglected.
Amber is a sweet, affectionate, very active little girl, with lots of puppy energy. She runs like the wind around her backyard, loves car rides and would love to take long walks with you. Amber has some separation anxiety, but appears to be feeling more confident and safe every day. She bonded very quickly with her foster mom and can be somewhat possessive if other dogs are also getting attention. For this reason, Amber would be better as an only dog. Amber needs a home with a good size, secure yard and someone that can be home the majority of the time, to give her the time, attention and training that she needs.
