Looking for a loyal, loving, and charming sidekick? Meet Winston, a 2.5-year-old Shih Tzu with a personality as endearing as his fluffy coat! Weighing in at 15 pounds, Winston is the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddle-ready sweetness. Winston’s medium energy level means he’s always up for a bit of fun but equally loves his downtime. He’s happiest when he’s with his people, following you step for step, sitting in your lap, or soaking up belly rubs. He even enjoys bath time and being brushed, so grooming is a breeze! What makes Winston extra special? His love for life and his adorable quirks! From the way he lights up when he’s running around the yard with other dogs to the pure joy he shows during snuggle sessions, Winston has a knack for making every moment feel a little brighter. And when he gazes at you with his one eye, you’ll know just how much love he has to give—he’s perfectly healthy after his eye removal and doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. Winston is a smart little guy who already knows commands like “stay,” “stop,” and “come.” He’s 90% house-trained and only needs a consistent schedule or access to a doggy door to master the rest. He’s also crate trained and does wonderfully when crated. While Winston is great with other dogs and loves to play, he’s not a fan of cats—so a cat-free home is best for this spirited pup. He walks beautifully on a leash, making him a great companion for neighborhood strolls, and he rides well in the car, ready to tag along for any adventure. The ideal home for Winston is one where he can soak up plenty of one-on-one attention from his people and enjoy daily physical activity, like running in the yard or playing with doggy friends. A home that values his loving, happy-go-lucky personality and gives him the love and care he deserves will be rewarded with a devoted, joyful companion. If you’re ready to welcome a charming, playful, and affectionate pup into your life, Winston is waiting to meet you! Apply today to make him part of your family
