My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Tyrin was brought in by his previous owner on December 22, 2024.

Why tyrin is the one for you:
Tyrin is a friendly and loving companion ready to join his new family! He has done wonderfully with a young child in his previous home and has a positive history with other dogs, making him a great fit for many households. Tyrin is potty trained and crate trained, though he'll need a strong, reinforced "escape-proof" crate since he's a bit of an escape artist with standard wire crates. This clever and affectionate pup is eager to share his love and happy energy with a family that can keep him safe and secure. Could Tyrin be the perfect addition to your home? Bring a leash and collar and come meet Tyrin!

At SDHS:
Tyrin has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. Tyrin is now ready for their new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
