Meet Bernadette! Bernadette was surrendered to us alongside her kittens, Gina and Charles, and her friend Horatio. They were found as strays that the owners were unable to keep. Bernie, as her previous owners called her, is a beautiful lady with the most glorious whiskers you`ve ever seen! She is quite sweet, and doesn`t mind attention. Bernadette has interacted with other cats in her previous home, and seems to do decently, though she will definitely let other kitties know if they`re getting on her nerves. She interacted with dogs in her previous home and did fine with those as well, but as always, we would recommend a slow introduction to any other animals in your home. Bernadette is not yet spayed, but is up to date on vaccinations and will be microchipped on her adoption day. Bernie`s adoption fee is $40 with a refundable $100 spay deposit. Visit www.eccha.org to complete our application online by clicking on a specific pet or the generic dog/pup or cat/kitten.

Approve Application

We will review your application and ask questions to help you and your family find the best fit. You will receive emails to keep you updated

3.
Meet the Pet

Approved applicants will be contacted to schedule a meet and greet either at the shelter or with the foster family.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Your application is approved, your pet is picked, you are ready to adopt. Sign our contract and pay the adoption fee to bring your pet home.
