Howard!

Howard was born about December 18, 2021 and he will likely top out about 85 lbs.  He appears to be and is said to be pure bred from a breeder in PA named Bonnie Lee who is easily found on Facebook.  Howard is here along with three other dogs as a local, young, single mom has left an abusive relationship and is on a mission to keep her kids and herself safe and it was just that much more difficult with four dogs as I feel most of us can imagine.  When Howard arrived here he was rather protective of  his human who was turning over all the dogs over to us which was very stressful for everyone involved.  After a few hours he decided the new humans in his life weren't too bad and he's been very good with everyone he's met.  So, we want to be sure any potential adopter knows that he does have a normal GSD protective side and this breed of dog is not for everyone.  Howard is said to be better than women than men as his puppyhood was spent with a verbally abusive man.  However, he is not having issues with his foster father so we hope he has adjusted.  
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $__400.00__.

Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. 

 

Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
