Secret Santa is looking for his forever family! Approx 6 months old, 8 lbs and so full of love. He loves his playtime and toys, and is a curious little sweetheart who loves to explore! He loves to meet new people and dogs, but hasn't been around cats yet. Great with kids. He's picking up potty-training on the pee pad very quickly, and isn't yet used to a leash but I have a feeling he'll take it to fast! He's great in carriers, slings, and cars. He loves to cuddle and nuzzle right up to you for naps. He'll make a great addition to a family with kids who can give him the playtime, energy, and attention he deserves. He eats and sleeps well, and rarely barks (only at the vacuum and thunderstorms so far, just a little bit). A total lovebug!
My foster dog is good with: Dogs and Kids for sure! Cats unknown
My foster dog is: low shed, currently learning pee pad training and taking to it well.
3 Keywords for your pup: Cuddly, sweet, playful
Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 7/8
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Pretty quiet but will bark a little when startled, and whine a little when left alone.
Walking Manners: Hasn't walked much on a leash yet so will need to learn. But he has lots of energy so I'm sure he'll love going on long walks once he works up to it.
Appetite: Great! No allergies that we know of, and eats his chicken Farmer's Dog food reguarly.
Does the following: Has a little bit of separation anxiety but he is young and smart and will get used to it quickly I think.
Favorite Things:
ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
