My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miracle!

When you spend time in animal rescue, inevitably you come across sad and cruel cases, and our girl Miracle is no exception. At the very end of the day mid November 2024, one of our Animal Control Officer partners got call about an injured dog roaming the countryside of Vanleer. He managed to safely secure her and bring her to the shelter to meet the skeleton crew that was still at our facility, and our hearts broke the moment we laid eyes on this beautiful girl. The biggest, sadest eyes pleaded for our help, with two grisly wounds; one on her cheek and the other her chest. One look at her and we sought out medical attention. Miracle was promptly seen by one of our trusted veterinarians, who gave this lucky girl her name. The veterinarian confirmed our suspicions, she had two bullet wounds, both that had gone completely through her body and exiting the other side. To our suprise and immense relief, neither bullet had hit anything vital or caused any damage. Although our brave girl needed to spend some time on medications to keep her comfortable while her wounds healed, aside from some scars she would have no lasting damage from her dangerous encounter.

Now that Miracle has fully healed from her wounds, this girl is finally ready to find a home to spoin her and give her all the love she deserves! She is a 31 flavors mix, we estimate her birthday to be 12/01/2020. Not only did she take her medical care in stride, but this lady has had the most incredible personality from day one. She loves to make all kinds of friends, even five minutes being loved on by a friendly face and Miracle is happy for the rest of the day. Miracle is the kind of dog who would love nothing more than a person of her own, to follow around the house and snuggle with at the end of the day. If you're the type to spend more time at home than not, you can bet Miracle would be right by your side the whole time. Miracle also enjoys the company of other dogs, and would do well in a home with another four legged friend. She also does great with cats, and loves kids.

Miracle is fully vetted, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $175.
