Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Butterscotch came into our lives when the neighbor had to remove her mom from their home because her mom wouldn’t adjust life with a young child in the house. Mom cat got pregnant and had four kittens. Butterscotch is one of them. They grew up the first 6 months wild outside. Their mom cat brought them over to our house next door when we were outside working. So I started feeding them. Last winter when the weather turned cold we started letting them all stay in our garage. Now Butterscotch likes to live in our home. She is house trained, loves to sleep in bed with us. Very loving. She is still skittish and needs an owner that is patient to earn her trust. The only reason we cannot keep her is my older cat who is small. Butterscotch likes to attack her. My cat is older and I don’t want her having to defend herself all day with a young two year old that is twice her size. I want Butterscotch in a loving home that will keep her safe. I love her. This is very hard for me.
