Carmella may be small, but she’s got a big personality! This little ball of energy is incredibly food motivated, and will do just about anything for a tasty treat. She’s not a fan of being alone, so she’ll always be seeking out a friend to hang out with. When she's not playing, which is often, she enjoys snuggling up for a cozy nap—especially when she's tired out from her playful adventures. Carmella is great with other cats and even small dogs, making her the perfect companion for a busy, multi-pet household. If you're looking for a spirited, loving kitten, Carmella is ready to steal your heart!

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.

You may visit The Cat House daily, except major holidays, 1-4 pm, by appointment only. We also have an off-site adoption center located inside Petco at 4144 N. Blackstone at Ashlan in Fresno, which is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.
