Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $275 + taxes
Location: Foster Home
Say hello to Maple, a gorgeous and independent tortie with a coat that’s as unique as her playful personality. Equal parts spunky and snuggly, Maple is a delightful mix of energy and charm. She loves chasing her favorite laser toy and playing with her siblings, keeping everyone entertained with her antics.
When it’s time to wind down, Maple enjoys curling up in her cozy cat bed or napping near her foster mom’s feet, proving she’s as loyal as she is adorable. Growing up with her mom and four siblings has made Maple well-socialized and ready to transition seamlessly into her forever home. She’s already a litter box and scratching post pro, making her an easy and loving addition to any family.
If you’re considering adding more than one kitten to your home, Maple would love to bring along one of her siblings for double the fun and affection!
Maple is ready to bring her playful, loving spirit to her forever family. Could that be you?

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
