My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE READ THE ANIMALS PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Meet Doug! Doug needs a loving and caring home to give him the life he deserves! He came from PRC after possibly being hit by a car. Unfortunately, both of his back legs were fractured and he was unable to walk. However, he got his surgery and now is doing AMAZING! He is walking great on his own and is truly recovering so well. This baby deserves so much, can you give him the best home? From Doug:Hi there! Im Doug!Im a 1-year-old Terrier mix with a heart as big as my silly, wagging tail. Ive been through a lot in my short life, but Im here to tell you that Im ready to find my forever family and share all the love and loyalty I have to give. Im potty trained, crate trained, and know a few commands like sit, down, and stay (though I might need a refresher). Once I warm up to you, Ill be your most loyal shadow and sweetest cuddle buddy. What makes me special?Im the kind of guy who thrives on quality time. Whether its hanging out in a calm space or playing with my doggy friends, I just want to be near you. I love other dogs (especially big ones!), but I do need a peaceful place to start off so I can fully recover and adjust. Dont worryonce Im settled, my goofy and affectionate personality will shine through. I promise to keep you smiling every day.Whats my dream home?Id love a home with a fenced yard where we can explore together. My ideal family will be patient, understanding, and ready to give me the calm environment I need to thrive. Whether its an apartment, townhome, or house, Im happy as long as I have love and a cozy spot to call my own.A note from my foster mom:Doug is one of the best dogs Ive ever had. After everything hes been through, he still wags his tail every single day. Hes taught me so much about resilience and love. If you give him just a little bit of care, hell give you so much more in return. If youre ready to welcome this sweet, loyal boy into your heart and home, lets meet! Lets make my forever home dream come true! Adoption FEE: $200 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines.
