Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This helps Animal Welfare Friends with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chris, the jack of ALL trades! He's a snuggler, a cuddler, a problem solver, lover, along with EVERYTHING else you find wonderful about herder dogs! He is outgoing, beyond sweet, and above all, SO loyal. Chris sticks to people's sides, never seeming to stray too far away; especially if you're spending it on the sofa with him once he's exercised well!! He just LOVES rolling around in blankets, hiding his face, and play bowing and all! Full of wiggles, with such a long fluffy tail, we just can't get enough of him! What's best about this charming little dude is that he seems to have his basics down, including potty-training, as he's so great in his crate! At about 2 years old, and 40 pounds or so, Chris will fit PERFECT in just about anyone's home! Did I mention he loves kids, cats, and dogs? In order to get the best assessment on Chris, he's gotten his very own long tour of our shelter, surrounded by cats, dogs, AND kids, let's just say he's done AMAZINGLY! He has taken to everyone and everything seamlessly, AND has gotten great use of his crate-training, leash-walking, basic commands, AND house-breaking skills!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
