My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pattie is all about cuddles & zoomies, that is it, and if you're not down with that, then you're NOT rocking with Pattie! This sweet girl is about a year old, 40 pounds of pure HAMBONE LOVE, though she could stand to gain some weight. Pattie ADORES kids, and other dogs, she's still not quite sure how cats make her feel, but there is definite potential of her being great with them, too! Pattie is honestly pretty chill, and partakes in what we call 'spontaneous zoomies', as often as she can. Whether she's zooming across the sofa, a bed, or the floor; you will HEAR this little piggy girl coming! She is beyond lovable, and she will make her adopters SO happy, as she's already made US fall in love! We believe Pattie to be house-broken, she is definitely crate-trained, and has a handle on all the basic obedience commands!

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
