Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Dune, who captures hearts with his puppy dog eyes, big old grin, and the best personality! He's got all the best qualities of everyone's favorite family dog-loyalty, playfulness, and a heart full of love. Plus the extra wiggly butt! Dune is a true companion who enjoys spending time with people and making new friends, when he's not bundled up on his bed, napping away the afternoon. Dune will make such an amazing addition to just about any loving home; whether you're playing fetch in the yard or enjoying quiet moments together, Dune is sure to become an irreplaceable part of your family. He's got plenty of love to give. Whether he's fetching sticks at the park or curling up at your feet for a nap, Dune's zest for life is infectious. He's the kind of dog who brings joy to everyone willing to give him that time, with his wagging tail and irresistible puppy eyes. Not to mention, he's got the basics DOWN, quickly obeying each and every command as he learns them like it's his only duty as a pooch. Let alone for a BALL! We can't get enough of this guy and his LOVE for some chin scratches, or behind the ear fluffs! Dune is crate-trained, and using that to further his house-breaking will make him the easiest to transition into your home!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
