My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chimi! At about 2 months old, he tops the scale at only about a pound! That pound is love though! This tiny dude LOVES sitting on laps, getting his belly rubbed, and especially following us around like a little shadow! He will do spectacular in just about any home as he gets along great with other animals, kids, and without hesitation! If he's getting some love, he's IN! Chimi is such a sweetheart, and quite likes playing with us, and even the big dogs that are gentle! He doesn't mind much of anything! He loves being a big ol' baby, that is one thing for sure; and will NOT object to taking a nice pup nap next to you!

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
