My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADORABLE baby Chica! This tiny girl can curl up just about anywhere, the cuddliest of them all for real! This spunky pup is full of personality, always trying to get our attention while filling our hearts with love. Did I mention she LOVES to be close and cuddly? She doesn't mind being held, she actually CAN'T WAIT to nuzzle herself up next to you. She would love to be the center of your world, we can't blame her, how can you be THAT adorable and not be spoiled? This little girl would love a family who can give her all the love and affection she deserves. Chica is only about 2 months old, and a WHOPPING pound!

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
