Meet Remi!

Remi is an 11-month-old, 52-pound Aussiedoodle with a heart full of love and a wonderfully calm personality. She was found running in the countryside in KY along with her sister, but now she’s safe and ready for her forever home.

Remi is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed.

This sweet girl is a dream companion. She’s fantastic with kids, dogs, and cats, and she’s already accustomed to living in a home with all three. She’s not a fan of chickens, so a chicken-free home would be best!!!

Remi is house trained, crate trained, and great on a leash, making her a well-mannered addition to any family. She loves to snuggle, is very laid back, and isn’t hyper like some doodle breeds. Her submissive and easygoing nature makes her a perfect fit for a calm and loving home.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
