My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet this sweet and clever girl who is eager to please! She already knows `sit` and is highly food motivated, making her a quick learner when it comes to training. She loves being with her people and will stick by your side whenever she can. This playful pup thrives in an environment that offers lots of enrichment—whether it`s puzzle toys, games, or mental stimulation, she’s always ready for the next challenge. If you`re looking for a loving, engaged dog who will enjoy learning and spending time with you, she`s the perfect match for your home!

I am currently available for adoption, but I`m also in need of a temporary foster home while I wait for my future family. Fostering means providing me with a safe and caring space where I can learn, grow, and share my unique personality while waiting for adoption. The amazing folks at OK Humane will provide all the necessary support, from food and supplies to medical care, while you offer the love, attention, and insights that will help me find the perfect forever family. If you`re not ready to commit to adopting, e-mail foster@okhumane.org about fostering me!

Additional adoption info

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.

Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.

Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.

Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
