Hi, my name is Washtucna and I am a sweet girl who recently traveled from Oklahoma to find my new home. I am named after a town in Washington state that received its name from a Native American word believed to mean "many waters" and was given as a namesake because there is a large spring in the town. Furthermore, legend has it that the town and valley were given the name of Washtucna in honor of Chief Washtucna who was a leader of the Palouse tribe. With such a distinguished name, you would expect a very distinguished dog.....and, boy do I live up to those expectations! I am a beautiful tan and white gal with unique markings on my face and I also enjoy socializing with other dogs as long as they are polite and gentle with me. I can be a little shy and would probably do best in a home with older children. And not to brag, but at around 2-years-old and 46 pounds, I am a fully-grown medium sized pup who is just the right size for most homes! If I sound like a match for you and your family, please visit with me today!!
