Midnight can't wait to find a new home and leave this stressful transitional time behind. Generally inexperienced with change and having had few opportunities to make new human friends, Midnight has understandably found the shelter environment quite overwhelming. With a slow and gentle approach, she has gradually started to emerge from her shell. We expect that, once settled into a quiet home with adopters willing to offer her the time she needs, she's sure to warm your hearts! At this time, she's recommended to a canine-free household and with kids aged 10+ or no kids .
The company of a feline friend has helped them all feel more comfortable warming up to new people; they are highly recommended to go to a home with another welcoming kitty or two.
Primary Color: Black Weight: 10.1 Age: 6yrs 2mths 3wks

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter and first vaccines, medical exam, and microchip.
How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
