My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Bruce, just like Bruce Wayne-yep, I'm named after Batman himself! I'm a 1-year-old Rottweiler and Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix (or at least that's their best guess), and let me tell you, I'm one cool canine.

Not much is known about my past since I was found wandering the streets of Prince George, but I'm a pretty good boy! I'm still learning to trust and adjust, but I'm sweet and eager to be your buddy.

Right now, I'm recovering from a little injury. One of my back legs is sore, so I've been taking it easy while they help me heal. I've got a lot of love to give, and once I'm feeling 100%, I'll be ready for all the fun and adventures that life has to offer!

If you're looking for a loyal and laid-back companion, I might just be the perfect match!

The Chilliwack Branch is an Animal Protection Centre for pets who have been rescued from abusive or neglectful homes. The Centre is open to the public by appointment only due to the security issues associated with housing animals awaiting the outcome of legal proceedings. We will accept surrendered animals by appointment only, and we are open for adoptions on special occasions.
