Welcome Sage to CCPAL foster program. Sage is a 6 to 8 month old Golden Retriever/Collie mix. She is medium sized at about 30 pounds. She is good with other dogs. She likes the water, playing with sticks and walks nicely right beside you. She has a soft coat and will make a nice walking companion. I do think she will stay medium sized. She is spayed, vaccinated and healthy. She currently is in foster care in Tarpley Texas. Her and the other dogs in foster care here are up for adoption through CCPAL Rescue. Sage would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Sage is not food protective and gets lots of off leash play time with other dogs her size. She is a wonderful dog and through some of the puppy antics but still young enough to raise with the attributes you want in an adult. Someone that isn’t gone all day every day is best for any new rescue dog. You will need time to finish off her training. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. We will then do an interview with you and let you speak to the foster mom or kennel staff that know the dogs best. Once completed we are ready to set up transport to your area. Our adoption fee is 200 and transport aboard Rescue Road Trips is 185.

Our fostering program & training classes socialize pets & help make them more adoptable. Since February 2002, C.C.P.A.L. has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We currently house 100+ dogs and puppies and are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them permanent homes.
