Upon first looking into Dayglow’s big, soulful eyes, you would never guess that this handsome boy is blind! Dayglow is a very special cat whose story encapsulated why indoor pets should not go outside. He came to us emaciated, filthy, and with a bad cold. Our incredible teams immediately began providing him with the best of care and patiently detangled each thread of his medical issues. Over 6 months later we are so proud of the progress he has made!
Dayglow is largely indifferent to other cats and would likely do best in a quiet home as the only cat, though he has lived with other cats successfully. He is so sweet and loves pets after you have earned his trust. He has a serious case of “if I fits I sits” and has started to occasionally play and emit the tiniest of rusty meows.
This cat has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and would benefit from an echocardiogram -- we would appreciate it if their potential adopter could help us cover this cost in lieu of an adoption donation.
Dayglow was rescued with dental issues and is in need of surgery. In lieu of an adoption fee, we would be thrilled for a potential adopter to provide a larger adoption donation and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible.
This cat can be adopted with a friend or as a single cat.
