Meet Lori – a sweet, gentle 11-year-old girl with a greying face that speaks volumes about her past and the love she’s had. Sadly, after the loss of her owner, Lori is now back at the shelter, looking for a new family. She’s a calm, affectionate soul who has a lot of love to give and she’s ready to find a home that can offer her the peace and comfort she deserves. The shelter is now place for this loving girl.
Lori is friendly and well-mannered. She enjoys meeting new people. She gives full body wags of excitement to say hi but knows when to stay calm. If you use a cane or a walker, Lori is incredibly thoughtful and will walk calmly beside you, making sure you’re okay. It’s a beautiful example of her kind and considerate nature.
Lori has enjoyed spending time with a 10-year-old child and was great around her and her friends. Lori does awesome when left alone at home but she also loves having someone around.
Lori could really use a foster or adopter soon where she can feel comfortable and loved as she transitions into her next chapter. She would fit well into a huge range of homes.
If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet, older dog who will repay your kindness with devotion and affection, Lori would be the perfect addition to your family. Could you give Lori the peaceful and loving environment she needs to feel secure again? Reach out to APA today for more information.
