Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Sirius! He is a 5.5 year old German Shepard Pit mix who has lived with us since he was 8 weeks old. He currently lives with another dog and 7 cats. He is overall a good boy, but has a few issues. He is extremely active, and NEEDS to be able to run around/get his energy out or he will be destructive. He is overall good with other dogs and cats but has tendencies to be too rough sometimes when overly excited or when cats run. He has lived with chickens before, but would need retraining to not kill them. He potties in the house currently due to his situation, but he has been trained before, and would need retrained and worked with on marking. He has escaped harnesses, broken chains, ripped fencing out of concrete, escaped a cattle hot wired fence and shock collar. He is VERY determined, and impossible to be kept in a fence. All he wants to do is go hiking, run around, cuddle in bed, and play. Due to an injury, we are no longer able to give him what he needs, and he deserves better.
