Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Johnny! He is around 9-10 months old and 65 lbs, possibly a Lab/Dane mix and ready to find his forever home!
This sweet guy was found as a stray by Lake Hefner with his sister June when they were still small puppies. They have received all the vet care they need and have grown into great doggos, ready to find homes of their own.
Johnny is house and crate trained and does great on a leash! He knows sit and is leaning to play fetch. He loves to be in the backyard, chasing squirrels in the yard and telling the birds to get off his lawn.
He is a sweet boy but, like many dogs and people, he takes a minute to warm up to strangers and other dogs. He would do great as an only dog or in a home with a non-dominant dog friend. He loves to go on walks, snuggle up by his people, and get his back and belly rubbed. Johnny does resource guard and does great eating in his kennel.
Johnny has a lot to offer a dog-loving person or family that can give a rescue dog the love and patience they need to adjust to a new family and home.
You can send inquiries to our adoptions team at muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com or apply to meet / adopt at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application
Johnny is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and heart worm negative. HIs adoption fee is $150.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue whose mission is to help unwanted animals in situations that could lead to harm or euthanasia. We primarily focus on animals with major medical illnesses, injuries or advanced age that are often overlooked and usually the first to be at risk of euthanasia. By partnering with shelters and the public, we promote responsible pet ownership, spay and neuter, and the adoption of special needs pets. It is our goal to save the un-savable!
