It’s time! We are ready to start accepting adoption applications for our Pug babies.

Here’s what we know:
- Birthday is 11/3/2024. They will be available to go home after they are 8 weeks old in January.
- Mom is (assumed) full Pug …clearly dad is not. Zero clue what these babies are mixed with, but they sure are cute!
- They range from 2.2- 4 lbs.
- All puppies are currently together and with mom. Their adopters will need to commit to socialization.

Puppies will have age appropriate vetting, and will be spayed / neutered at 6 months of age. They are available for adoption to residents of IL, CT or surrounding states. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application from www.omdrescue.org

Home Check

Once an applicant is determined to be a good possible fit for the specific dog, we move forward with a home visit.

3.
Meet the Pet

Once an application is fully approved (application review, reference checks, and home visit conducted) a meet & greet is scheduled.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

An adoption is finalized with the signed contract and adoption fee ($500 for puppy and adult dogs, $350 for seniors)

5.
Pay Fee

Additional adoption info

One More Dog Rescue (OMD), formerly Ruff Start Happy Tails, requires all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application and agree to a home visit prior to any adoption. Once the application is approved, a meet and greet will be scheduled between the potential adopter (s) and the dog.

When a dog is adopted through One More Dog, an adoption contract must be signed, and we ask that a donation in the amount of $500 ($350 for seniors) be made at the time of adoption to help our rescue cover a portion of the costs we incur through pull fees, vetting, and training.
