My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Selah, born in May of 2024, is a Hurricane Helene survivor. She came to our rescue as part of a large group of cats and kittens from a rescue just south of Asheville. She is a gorgeous little panther with a clipped ear. Because of all the craziness that has happened in her life, she is understandably a little hesitant when meeting new people. But Selah is a lover once she warms up. She craves pets and attention and she's super fun when she plays with her crinkly foil balls! This sweet little panther is happy to be a survivor and looks forward to living life as a well loved member of some lucky family.

More about this rescue

Cat Tales Rescue NC is the nonprofit rescue arm of Cat Tales Cat Cafe, which provides a unique and invaluable avenue for adoptions. The Cat Cafe environment allows us to get to know each cat and adopter individually enabling us to set adopters up for success which leads to happier adoptions. Even previously overlooked cats get a chance to shine at the café. At the Cat Cafe, cats get adopted quickly, which allows us to be efficient and cost effective, but most importantly, cause the least amount of stress on the cats.
