My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

George is a sweet and very snuggly 4-year-old Queensland Heeler. He loves going for hikes and walks around the neighborhood, chasing after the ball in the backyard, and cuddling with his people in bed on Saturday mornings. He's the best of both worlds: a dog that loves to be outside and do fun, outdoorsy activities with us, while also happy to spend a day napping while we work or clean.

While George loves his people, he struggles to handle young children and other pets, which is why he needs to go to a calm house with no kids or other animals (though we have seen evidence that he may learn to be around other animals with repeated introductions and training). He's not thriving in his current household, which has too many people coming and going for his taste, and he would make an ideal best friend for a couple or single person. He's initially skittish around adult men and barks at first, but comes around after a few minutes. He loves women and teens.
