Meet Ivan – The Sweet Giant You’ve Been Waiting For!

Hello there! I’m Ivan, a gentle giant at 5 years old, and I’m ready to steal your heart! I’m a lovable, large breed mix with a heart as big as my paws. I’m sweet, playful, and always excited to meet new friends—whether they have two legs or four!

I’m all about treats (who isn’t, right?), and I’ll gladly show you my best “please” face in exchange for a tasty snack. When it comes to playtime, I’m your guy! I love running around, playing fetch, or just having a fun romp in the yard. Even though I’m a big boy, I’m super gentle and love being around people.

I might be large in size, but my love and affection are even larger. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share life’s adventures with, I’d be honored to be your sidekick! Come meet me and see just how wonderful life could be with a big-hearted, treat-loving playmate like me.

To adopt a pet from Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, you must:

-Be at least 18 years of age
-Have a U.S. government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or state ID
-Verify that you are allowed to have a pet of the breed and size where you currently live
-Be able to provide necessary medical treatment, training, and proper care for your pet

At any given time, we have hundreds of amazing pets here at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, and we encourage you to visit us to meet them! Our goal is to help you find the perfect pet, based on your personality and lifestyle.

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is a limited-admission humane society and provides services to over 34,000 cats, dogs, puppies, and kittens each year. Operating continuously since 1925, we have been positively impacting animal welfare and addressing overpopulation in Palm Beach County through a variety of services.

Our Vision is to create a community where 100% of the adoptable animals find loving homes and no animals will be euthanized because of pet overpopulation.

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, Humane Society of the Palm Beaches, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and does not receive funding from city, county, state, or federal government, or local organizations with similar names. We rely solely on the generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations to provide quality programs and services to the community. Your donations directly support the services and programs in place to help animals in need.
