My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the Weather Girls, Rain and Nimbus! They were found as strays with their mom, Storm and a sibling, Stratus (adopted) in a backyard and came into care. These babies are sweet and fluffy, playful and cuddly.

Meet Rain and sister, Nimbus! Rain is a blue tabby and very much a leader. She is extremely playful, sweet, good natured, and adventurous. Nimbus is gray and white, shy and very dependent on her sister. She shys away from people, and can be timid, but once picked up enjoys being held. Rain believes she is the Lord of the Food - at times using her paw to keep for Nimbus from eating, so their new family would need to keep an eye on that and feed them separately for awhile. :0)

Both kittens will be dewormed, receive 2 FVRCP vaccines, a rabies vaccine at 4 months of age, be spayed/neutered, combo tested, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't need to reregister and pay $20+ every year, because it is done for you.

These babies would do best in a low to moderate activity home with kids over the age of 4 years old. Priority given to people adopting both kittens. Contact us at GoodMews22@aol.com or call 540.717.4420. To fill out a digital application: https://www.jotform.com/form/221029453063044

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process requires you filling out an approved adoption application, meeting your future family member, and signing a contract. Fees vary depending on the cat - their socialibility, age, and how long they have been looking for their furrever home. Fees range from $35 to $65. All cats are spayed/neutered, feline leukemia tested negative, and have had their first set of vaccines.

More about this rescue

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
The cats that most rescues "don't have time for."

ALL cats deserve love.
ALL cats deserve a good home.
ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care.

Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats.

Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.
