Meet Thistle, a 3-year-old orange tabby with a personality as bold as his beautiful coat! Thistle came to us as a transfer from Pet Amigos, a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) program, after being rescued from a feral colony. Upon arrival, he received care for an abscess that was clipped and cleaned during his surgery. It took him a few days to adjust, but now Thistle has come into his own as a uniquely lovable character.
This talkative boy isn’t shy about making his presence known, often meowing loudly for attention before dramatically flopping onto his side in an irresistible display of charm. As sweet as he is, Thistle also has an independent streak. He gets easily overstimulated, so he’s classified as semi-social and would thrive in a setting that respects his boundaries.
Having spent his entire life outdoors, Thistle would do best in an indoor/outdoor environment or as a strictly outdoor cat. Whether he’s lounging in the sun or keeping you company in the garden, Thistle will be a loyal companion with time, patience, and understanding.
