Are you ready for a bundle of joy, energy, and endless fun? Croissant is a young (around one-year-old) 70 lb Mastiff mix looking for his forever home! Currently in a board and train program after coming from NYCACC, he’s working hard to overcome his shyness with new people and learn that humans can be great friends. He is also learning obedience, leash walking, recall, and many many other wonderful skills to help him be a well-trained pup!
Croissant needs an adopter who can continue his socialization and help him build confidence in the world around him. He’s an active, playful pup who loves tug-of-war, squeaky toys, fetch, and basically any game you can think of! His playful spirit and eagerness to learn make him a fun and engaging companion.
What Croissant Needs:
- Experienced dog owners who are familiar with large breeds and can handle his energy and size.
- A home with other dogs to help burn off his energy! Croissant thrives with canine friends who are friendly and balanced, as he has a lot of spunk to share.
- A slow introduction to new people – it’s important to meet him in person a couple of times before bringing him home.
- No children – Croissant can be jumpy and mouthy, so he’d do best in an adult-only home or one with dog-savvy teens.
Croissant is super trainable and eager to please, making him a fantastic student in his training program. He’s a big, playful pup who’s just looking for the right person to help him blossom into the confident, loving dog he’s meant to be.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
