Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Poppi
Poppi is an excited little buddy waiting to be your best friend! From sitting on the couch and giving kisses to car rides, Poppi just wants to be attached at the hip. When you come home, Poppi will let you know how much she misses you by doing her little dance (wiggle butts and zoomies)! She is good with other dogs and cats, and is happy just to be together. The perfect owner for Poppi would be someone who wants a pocket sized companion! Poppi, despite her age, is still working on her house etiquette, but is puppy pad trained. Rest assured Poppi is completely crate trained and doesn’t mind hanging out in there when her person isn’t around. Poppi is so ready to change into her holiday sweater and meet her new forever best friend!
Poppy is scheduled for her spay on 1/16. She may be adopted prior to that date. Her spay will be covered by the rescue at that appointment. Poppi weighs 8.5 pounds.
A couple notes:
-All animals are living in private foster homes.
-As with most rescues dogs, breed mix is our best guess, based on age and appearance.

We are a volunteer based rescue and all of our pups are being fostered in private homes. We require an application to be submitted and if approved, we can set up a meet and greet with you and the foster family.

Our Mission:
At Farm Friends Rescue, our mission is to save the lives of stray, abandoned, abused and surrendered domestic animals in our local community by providing short-term care and shelter while facilitating the placement of these animals into loving and responsible permanent homes.
Our Vision:
Our vision is an educated community with increased shelter adoptions, decreased shelter populations, increased spayed and neutered pets, no pet overpopulation, reduced animal cruelty, and responsible animal ownership.
What We Do:
Farm Friends Rescue is an all-volunteer and foster-based nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated in our efforts to:
-Provide shelter, food, medical attention, comfort, and love to stray, abandoned, neglected and injured animals rescued from local animal shelters or persons within our community.
-Place rescued animals in qualified volunteer foster homes so they can learn socialization with humans and other animals as well as receive love, affection, exercise, recreation, proper nutrition and medical care in a safe and loving environment.
-Sterilize, vaccinate, and microchip all of the animals within our care.
-Rehabilitate sick or injured animals within our care.
Assist lost animals in finding their rightful owners or seek new loving and safe homes for them if no owners can be located.
-Adopt out rescued animals to qualified, responsible and safe homes that have been properly screened through interviews, home visits, reference checks, and regular updates.
-Educate the public about the humane care of animals and encourage responsible pet ownership with an emphasis on spaying and neutering to prevent pet overpopulation.
