My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gramps is a 2.5 month old beautiful dark orange little boy. He was named gramps because he always had a little grumpy man face but is the sweetest thing, raised by a little girl. He can be held, pet and purrs away. He loves playing with his siblings but also loves to be with people. He is great with scratching at the cat tree and litter box trained. Hes fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue initially began in Rio Linda and now proudly serves both Rio Linda and its surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to tackle cat overpopulation while supporting local communities. We're all about nurturing and protecting our furry friends by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured cats until they're healthy and ready for their forever homes. We're big advocates for spaying and neutering, not just for our beloved pets but also for our community cat colonies. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, we're dedicated to the art of Trap-Neuter-Return, lending a helping paw by providing free training on trapping, traps for those in need, and information on low-cost surgeries. We rescue kittens and friendly strays, prepping them for loving families. Our aim? Spreading love and care for our cat friends!
