Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Eleanor is a playful, energetic 4-year-old tortoiseshell Siamese cat who thrives in a quiet, dog/child/male-free home where she can be the center of attention. Fully litter box trained, she responds to "no," enjoys talking to her humans, and is allowed on counters. While she loves chewing on houseplants, she doesn't chew on cords. Eleanor is sweet and charming, but also big and loud—her voice and vertical jump are larger than expected for her size!
Coming from a chaotic home and lacking socialization as a kitten, she can be skittish and may hide when stressed. However, she quickly rebounds for more playtime and affection when safe. Eleanor loves hunting, chasing, and running, and though she eagerly seeks pets, she struggles to stay still for them. When she’s ready to settle, she loves cuddling for long naps. After a few months of fostering, she’s blossomed and will continue to thrive in her forever home.
