ADOPTION INCLUDES: All vaccinations, dewormed, 30-day topical de-flea, FIV/Felv test, spay/neuter, rabies vaccs, microchip, all health records to date.
GETS ALONG WITH OTHER CATS/DOGS? TJ is acclimated to cat friendly cats and cat friendly dogs. Slow, gradual introductions are always needed when meeting new friends!
CHILDREN? He is fine with well-mannered children who know how to respect pets.
BIO: TJ is a lovable ball of energy; playful, silly, cheerful, such a clown, and will make you laugh every day. He will come up to your feet and simply flop over on his side, asking for a pet. We often joke that his gyroscope is broken, or his batteries have stopped, LOL!
He rarely actually meows, but rather has a sweet purr chirp, or a soft, puppy like squeak.
He came into rescue with cloudy eyes and no history. He’s been seen several times by our vet and has been treated with eye drops and antibiotics. The vet said his eyes likely will not completely clear up, **HOWEVER, TJ definitely **CAN** see just fine, as he routinely jumps up & down from a windowsill, the cat tree and chairs in his foster home. He chases toys like there is no tomorrow!!
TJ plays well and *HARD* with the foster home’s adult male black cat, likes to chase and tussle, jump out from behind doors, and play hide & seek with the other cat.
He would do best with another kitten or young cat to play with, since he’s very active and clearly enjoys play and companionship of other cats.
TJ is always fastidious with his litter box, enjoys a soft place to sleep, boxes, and any toys that move. He likes being pet and held like a baby on his back, although he’s so busy, it takes him a bit to settle in and get to know new humans.
He is working on his escort duties to & from the bathroom, so you won’t get lost. He’s an affectionate goofball who will keep you and another kitty buddy entertained.
OUT OF STATE/OUT OF AREA? We do not arrange transport or ship. Please be willing and able to personally acquire this pet.
