My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Clark. I'm a gentle, sweet, and loving boy who can't wait to find my forever home. I'm about 1-2 years old and weigh 43lbs, which means I'm the perfect size for snuggles. I’m a mix breed, with a heart full of love to give. I’ve got a calm and kind nature that makes me an ideal companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend.

I walk beautifully on a leash, and I’m great around other dogs too – I just want to be everyone's buddy. I really enjoy attention and love to be close to my humans, so if you’re looking for a cuddly teddy bear to add to your family, I might be just the one for you. I recently came all the way from Mississippi to New Jersey, and I’m ready to settle into my new home.

If you're ready to meet me, just fill out the adoption application at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application. I can’t wait to meet you and share all my love!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
