My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peewee is a sweet and shy boy who is around 2 years old. He would love a quiet home with a playful cat friend. He loves back scratches and watching birds out the window. He is a funny boy who will give a little hiss when you first approach him but then go crazy for back scratches. He will need a patient adopter who is willing to spend some time winning him over. He is a more independent cat and loves other felines, but probably will never be a lap cat.

Peewee is a neurological FIP survivor and was left wobbly after his treatment. He walks with a sway and can be slow to change directions. This doesn't keep him from navigating the home though and he uses a litter box! He does best with playful and confident male cats, and will bully a more timid cat. He is okay with dogs.

Peewee is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

FIP is a mutation of feline coronavirus that can happen in some cats who have lower immune systems or who have a genetic predisposition. Most cats have been exposed to felines coronavirus and only a small percentage will experience a mutation. You can read more about FIP here: https://www.sockfip.org
