My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My names Faith!

I’m 14 years young and currently weigh 70lbs-ish, I’m a coastal grandmother that has started on a glow up that has me losing weight and gaining a pep in my step.

I’m up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, absolutely housebroken and the perfect companion. I get on well with other dogs and have learnt to live with a cat but I’ll give the cat the occasional boof woof just to prove I still got it I love all people and kids too!

I came into rescue lookin a bit of a mess to be honest but my foster mom and vet team treated me to some mani, pedi, spa and dental treatments and I’m looking great. I do have a history of ear issues so you’ll need to help me keep an eye on them and I have my own special shampoo that helps keep my skin and coat feeling and smelling great, my foster mom says I was a bit yeasty when she got me, how rude

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism which luckily for me and you is easily being managed with some tablets and occasional vet checks. Understandably at my age I’ve got some arthritis but I take a tablet in the morning that has me feeling 10 years old again, the weight loss is also helping and I’ve been trotting around more and more each week

I’ve learnt how to climb stairs and onto a couch and absolutely insist on laying under the table whilst you have your dinner, I won’t beg, I just need to keep your toes warm.

I adore belly scratches and will nudge you with my nose or tap you with my foot to tell you it’s time for some pampering

I love a leisurely stroll and walk great on a collar, and I’ve learnt how to get into the car willingly. But I’ll need a lil help getting my tushy into the car pls

If you’re looking to give a super low maintenance delightful old girl a home you will be rewarded with unconditional love and limitless gratitude. Fill out a Statement of Interest for her here at  https://alternativehumanesociety.com/statement-of-interest-dog/
