My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jorts is an independent and enigmatic beauty with a silky-soft coat and a penchant for solitude. She’s a cat who prefers the quiet company of animals over humans, often seeking out the Pugs in her foster home for companionship. Whether she’s rubbing up against them, following them around, or curling up in their beds for a nap, Jorts has a clear fondness for her canine friends.

With humans, Jorts is shy and reserved. While she may occasionally approach for a quick head scritch, she doesn’t linger long. She’s more likely to be found perched by the window, watching the world go by or napping in the sun. Jorts is the kind of cat who appreciates her own space and doesn’t demand much from her people.

Jorts would do well in a home with other animals, particularly a cat-friendly dog. While she’s fine coexisting with other cats, she doesn’t rely on their companionship and is often seen keeping to herself. If adopted as the only cat, having a dog in the house could provide the connection she seems to crave. A home without other pets might work, but it would take an experienced, patient adopter to bring her out of her shell and into a more interactive relationship.

She hasn’t been around children, and given her shy demeanor, a quieter household without the chaos of young kids would likely suit her best.

If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, independent companion with a touch of mystery, Jorts could be the perfect fit. She’s not a lap cat (at least not yet), but her unique personality and understated charm make her a rewarding choice for the right adopter.

Submit an adoption application today to see if Jorts is the aloof yet enchanting companion you’ve been searching for!

Please note she currently lives in a foster home!
