My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hamong❤️
Hamong was rescued from a shelter in South Korea along with Haru. Adogs visited the shelter for a cold-weather volunteer activity and found puppies shivering in the cold. Considering the poor shelter conditions, especially for young Hamong and Haru, they decided to rescue them.

• With People: Doesn’t show fear or nervousness around strangers. Is affectionate with familiar people and loves being a lap dog, often climbing onto laps to show his charm!
• With Dogs: Gets along well with the other dogs at his foster home. Observes and learns from his dog siblings, picking up good manners and training. Is a peaceful pup who waits patiently for his turn when others are playing with toys, instead of competing for them.

• Separation Anxiety: May whine a little when his caregiver prepares to leave, but settles down with his siblings after they leave.
• House Training: Is about 90% pad-trained and improving every day. May need some time in adapting himself when he moves in a new circumstances.
• Walks: Hasn’t been on walks yet as his vaccinations are still in progress.
• Is bold and easygoing, even when other dogs growl at him. Calmly handles the situation without being fazed!

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US and Canada when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
