My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Derek Shepherd, the "McDreamy" of kittens! Just like his Grey's Anatomy namesake, this little heartthrob is equal parts charm, energy, and tenderness. A true people-pleaser, Derek thrives on love and attention, whether it’s from his humans, his sister, the older cats in his life, or even the two Pugs he’s currently winning over (a sprightly young one and a seasoned senior).

Derek’s signature move? A dramatic entrance into your lap for some well-earned snuggle time—paging Dr. Shepherd to cuddle rounds! He’s all about those “pick me up, carry me around, and shower me with kisses” moments, and he’s even been known to enjoy the VIP treatment of a baby sling for maximum closeness. Raised by hand and bottle-fed, this guy has the bedside manner of a seasoned pro—there’s no such thing as too much affection for Derek.

When it’s not time for cuddles, Derek channels his inner surgical precision into zoomies, turning your home into his personal Seattle Grace. And while he hasn’t met kids yet, his playful, easygoing vibe suggests he could scrub in just fine with gentle, respectful little ones.

Derek is a team player through and through—he loves his squad! Whether it’s snuggling up with his sister, nuzzling the Pugs, or forming a tangled nap pile with his furry friends, Derek shines brightest when surrounded by his people and fellow pets.

Ready to adopt your very own McDreamy? Derek Shepherd is looking for a home with a buddy—his sister, another cat, or even a dog would make his day. Submit an application and meet the kitten who will love you as much as you love him. He’s waiting for his perfect person to walk through the OR doors—or, more accurately, your front door!

Please note he currently lives in a foster home
