Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
My life started out a little rocky. My foster momma actually found me and my sister outside around 2 in the morning trying to eat frozen cat food, it was down to 9 degrees with the windchill that night! Can you believe someone dumped us out in the cold? I was a bit skinny, so I’ve gained some weight and I’m just over 30 pounds now and growing - I was even missing most of my hair on my hide legs, butt and tail but almost all of it is growing back in now!!
Even with life starting out a little rough I’m told I’m the “best boy” so many times a day - so it must be true. I’m almost completely potty trained, I almost never have an accident in my crate. I hold it “like a good boy” or I’ll even scratch at the crate door / speak a little bit to let you know I got to go now please.
I don’t mind my crate at all - I sleep there all night on my comfy bed (with a blanket please - I like to scoot it around on my bed) with no problem other than a potty break, I don’t even whine anymore. If you say the word crate to me, I’ll go there and wait on my good boy biscuit.
I'm learning the words “sit” and “shake” right now.
I don’t mind walking on a collar and leash, but I would much rather wear a harness - it’s more comfortable to me. I’m very gentle and don’t pull the leash as we walk.
I love to go outside - sunshine, darkness, snow, rain, leaves, you name it I just love being outside. I bet I’m going to love this thing called hiking my foster siblings told me about. I live with cats and dogs in my foster home. I like them all - my foster momma taught me to be so gentle with the kitties and one of them even likes me now!!
I enjoy playing with the big dogs as much as I enjoy playing with my sister.
I’m a HUGE fan of squeaky & crinkle toys - I have to be in the mood to chew on a bone though. I do however really like this treat dispenser ball - sometimes my foster momma will put my dry food in it, and I get to use my nose and knock the ball around to get my food out - this enriches my brain and makes me ready for a puppy nap!
I’m full of energy and always ready to run and play- right now I enjoy many walks a day and I think that’d be best for my forever home too so I can control my zoomies. I’m really trying hard to learn not to jump.
As much as I love to play - I’m the happiest when I’ve got your attention. I think humans are the best - even at the vet I was SO EXCITED to meet everyone. I love the attention pets, kisses, can’t wait for a snuggle (you can just pick me right up because I’m a big baby), oh did I mention butt scratches!?
Adoption includes neuter, up-to-date shots, and microchip.
